Wellcome to

Torq Personal Training

Torq Personal Training is a private, semi-private training studio in Spokane, WA, built for people who want real results in a focused, welcoming environment.

We’re not a big-box gym. We’re a movement-driven, community-focused training space where every client is coached with purpose, tracked for progress, and supported every step of the way.

Our training combines strength, skill, and longevity, with expert coaching and personalized attention in small groups of 2–7 people.

MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO

Donnie Kissick

I’m Donnie Kissick, and I created Torq Personal Training because I believe movement is a gift and learning to move well changes everything.

I didn’t grow up athletic. In fact, for much of my youth, I carried extra weight, struggled with confidence, and felt completely disconnected from my body. I wore baggy shirts to hide my insecurities, avoided pools, and sat on the sidelines more than I played. But underneath that discomfort was a quiet fire a desire to feel strong, capable, and confident.

That fire led me to explore every corner of movement culture: from strength training to gymnastics, circus arts to martial arts, and years of coaching everyday people to elite performers. I discovered that movement—done intentionally can heal more than just the body. It builds discipline, character, and courage.

That belief became the foundation for Torq: a place where people who feel unsure, intimidated, or stuck in their fitness journey can finally find clarity, strength, and a system that works.

Meet Our Coaches

Kory Cross

I’ve been training since 2024, and fitness has completely transformed my life—helping me find confidence, balance, and vitality. My mission is to share that same gift with others, showing that fitness isn’t a punishment, but a celebration of what your body can do.

I’m deeply passionate about helping others not just build physical strength, but also discover resilience, self-belief, community and a lasting sense of accomplishment through fitness.

Clarisa Morris

After having 2 kids, I started going to the gym again. I realized that going to the gym and getting to focus on only myself for 1 hour, helped to be a happier, more patient mom. I found so much joy from moving my body, I wanted to help other people find that same joy.

I really enjoy working with people who are trying to get stronger. I love seeing people make progress in the gym and the sense of accomplishment it gives them!
